The topic that we begin the course with seems like the natural starting point: in order to talk about the people living the Amazon region, it is necessary to talk about the environment they live in
first. Every culture adapts to natural conditions in their surrounding so I decided to begin with information about the biodiversity of the forest and waters. For the indigenous people, nature is also
means of transport, source of food, building and hunting materials etc. Therefore, in this module you will learn about the ways people living in the Amazon forest use river and forest abundance.
